Real Betis are on the brink of securing another loan deal for Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca, according to president Angel Harol. The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at the Spanish club after triggering a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave the Whites following their relegation to the Championship.
And Haro has today clarified Roca's situation. He has told the Spanish media: “Roca remains almost one hundred percent, on loan or with another formula."Roca has already ‘expressed his intention’ to remain at the Estadio Benito Villamarin. Keeping hold of Roca is viewed as a priority piece of business for manager Pellegrini as he prepares to lose Argentinian international midfielder Guido Rodriguez on a free transfer this summer.
Signed by former United boss Jesse Marsch, Roca has only played 36 times for United. His current contract runs until the summer of 2026.
