Oglesby, 48, pleaded guilty to one count of Social Security fraud and agreed to pay at least $17,000 in restitution to Southwest Baptist University for obtaining $9,400 in federal student loans, $5,920 in Pell Grants and over $2,000 for books and fees, the Justice Department said in a statement Monday.
Schwien’s investigation revealed that Oglesby was, indeed, living nearby, working at the public library under an assumed identity — her daughter’s. that she “obtained lines of credit, obtained funds from multiple colleges, and a drivers license," which she used under her daughter's name.
