Former Preston North End goalkeeper and Player of the Year Daniel Iversen is being linked with a move to Derby County. The Danish shot-stopper has one year left to run on his Leicester City contract and is expected to leave the Foxes this summer. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Stoke City, making 19 appearances for the Potters as they stayed up.
And Derby, who finished second in League One last season, are said to be interested in Iversen. The Rams are managed by Paul Warne, who was in charge at Rotherham when Iversen spent time on loan there in 2019/20. He then moved to OH Leuven, before two consecutive loan moves to Preston - where he shone. Iversen kept 23 clean sheets for PNE, in 71 appearances.
